Are you a shooter who enjoys their favorite .357 Magnum but dislike the increasing cost of shooting it? Has this limited your range time and ability to maintain proficiency? If so, your answer may be found in the .357 Magnum 158 gr. FMJ by Tula.
This .357 round is manufactured by the Russian company Tula Cartridge Works, a producer of small arms ammunition since 1880. Each round is constructed utilizing a 158-grain bi-metal Full Metal Jacket bullet, a polymer-coated steel casing and a non-corrosive boxer type primer & propellant.
This bi-metal bullet does not use a steel core. Tula’s core is 100 percent lead with a steel/copper jacket. Plus, this magnum load round has a much lower recoil compared to similar rounds. Also, this round has the muzzle velocity measured at 1280 feet per second.
Because this round utilizes a steel polymer-coated case it is non-reloadable. However, the reduced cost translates to a lower cost per round for the shooter. Increased savings are available by purchasing in bulk, a 1000 round bundle comprised of 200 rounds boxes.
