The One Thousand cartridges of PMC .45ACP FMJ’s I purchased are a Great deal! PMC is one of the better manufacturers of good ammo (perhaps not as old and well known as other brands, but nonetheless, good stuff to carry as a Defensive cartridge;) and if you’re carrying a 45 ACP you’re always better off with FMJ’s / FMC’s (…if you can find them) rather than hollow points because the 45 ACP is generally a “sub-sonic” projectile, flying less than 1000 FPS. Flying that slow with such a heavy projectile, I have actually seen videos of subjects able to step out of the way of a slow moving 45 ACP…pushing out 50 feet!! The 45 ACP was made for combat, as it is an up close and personal projectile that will not only stop your attacker in their tracks, but knock them back, and most likely knock them down on the first discharge. GREAT IF YOU’RE UNDER ATTACK AND IN NEED OF DEFENDING YOURSELF!! “PMC’s” FMJ’s are PERFECT TO DO THIS JOB IN A 45 ACP; as compared to any type of Hollow Point projectile (which the 45 ACP was not made for.) One heavy FMJ and down they go!! I carry PMC ammo in several different calibers and am very happy with my bulk 45 ACP purchase. FYI, NO stepping out of the way of anyone’s “super-sonic” projectiles, such as 9mm and 40 S&W calibers; and PMC is a Great cartridge for those calibers as well!!!

I’ve only made it about 300 rounds in so far and I haven’t had a single misfire (although it’s about time I clean my handgun again (Sig Sauer p320) but the ammo is all (as far as I’ve seen so far) solid and I am most definitely grateful for my decision to buy bulk!
