12 Gauge – 00 Buck – Magnum 12P – 2.75″ – Federal (F130 00) – 250 Rounds

Most 2-3/4 inch 00 buckshot carries 9 pellets. The Federal Power-Shok magnum load packs 12 pellets into the same length shell, putting more lead on target with every shot. This listing is Federal Power-Shok 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch magnum 00 buckshot, 12 pellets, MPN F130 00, sold as a 250 round case.

Federal rates this load at 1,290 fps with 1-7/16 ounces of 00 buckshot. Each 00 pellet is roughly .33 caliber, so a 12 pellet shell delivers a heavy payload at close range. That added payload comes with noticeably more recoil than standard or reduced-recoil buckshot, so it is best suited to shooters who are comfortable with a full-power 12 gauge. Hunters use it for deer and hogs where buckshot is legal, and many people keep it in a home defense shotgun.

This ammunition fits shotguns chambered in 12 gauge with a 2-3/4 inch or longer chamber, including the Remington 870, Mossberg 500, 590, and 940, Benelli M4 and Nova, Beretta 1301, and Winchester SXP. A common question is whether magnum 00 buck patterns as tight as standard 9 pellet loads. Heavier payloads often pattern wider, so pattern your shotgun at the distances you expect to shoot before relying on it. Another common question is whether 12 pellet loads cycle semi-autos. Most gas-operated 12 gauge semi-autos handle full-power buckshot well, but test a few shells in your gun.

Federal F130 00 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. This case comes in factory packaging as 50 boxes of 5 rounds for a total of 250 rounds of 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch magnum 00 buckshot.
