20 Ga – 2.75″ 3 Buck – Winchester Super-X (XB203VP) – 150 Rounds

A 20 gauge loaded with buckshot is a solid home defense option for shooters who want less recoil than a 12 gauge, and it is just as useful for deer and hog hunting. This listing is Winchester Super-X 20 gauge 2-3/4 inch #3 buckshot, MPN XB203VP, sold as a 150 round bulk case. Buying 20 gauge buckshot by the case lets you practice with the same shells you keep loaded at home or carry into the woods.

Each shell holds 20 pellets of #3 buckshot, and the shot column is buffered. Buffering fills the space around the pellets, which helps keep them from deforming as they are pushed down the barrel, so they stay round and fly in a tighter pattern. Twenty #3 pellets put a lot of lead on target with one shot, which is why this load is popular for close range defense and for deer and hogs at buckshot distances. Winchester rates this load at 1,200 fps, and it comes in value pack boxes of 15 shells.

These shells work in any 20 gauge shotgun chambered for 2-3/4 inch or longer shells, including pump-actions, semi-autos, and break-actions. They are a good fit for home defense with a 20 gauge, especially for smaller shooters or anyone sensitive to recoil, and for deer and hog hunters in areas where buckshot is legal. A common question is whether 20 gauge buckshot is enough for home defense, and many shooters choose it because lighter recoil makes fast follow-up shots easier. Stock up with the 150 round bulk case so you can train and hunt with one load.

Winchester Super-X XB203VP is made in the USA and is new production ammunition, not reloads. Each shell uses a plastic hull with a metal base and a battery cup primer, and the load is non-corrosive. These shotshells are not intended for reloading. This bulk case comes in factory packaging as 10 boxes of 15 rounds for a total of 150 rounds of 20 gauge #3 buckshot.
