22 LR – 36 gr HP – Remington Golden Bullet (21278 – 1600) – 5000 Rounds

Pick up this 5000 round case of Remington Golden Bullet 21278 22 LR 36 grain plated hollow point ammo, also known by the Remington code 1600. Golden Bullet is one of the most familiar names in rimfire, and this bulk pack is built for shooters who go through a lot of 22 LR at the range, on the farm, and in the field.

The 21278 load fires a 36 grain plated hollow point at a rated 1,280 fps with 131 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The plated bullet helps keep your bore cleaner than bare lead, and the hollow point opens up on impact, which makes this load a good fit for small game and pest control at rimfire distances as well as plinking and practice. It is high velocity ammunition, not a subsonic load, and it is not intended for large animals or long range shooting. Because it comes 100 rounds to a box, it is easy to stage plenty of ammunition for a long day of shooting.

The 22 Long Rifle is the most widely produced cartridge in the world. It is chambered in bolt action, lever action, pump, and semi automatic rifles, plus a wide range of pistols and revolvers. Its low recoil and low noise make it ideal for teaching new shooters and building fundamentals. Remington traces its roots to 1816 and is one of the oldest names in American firearms and ammunition, and the Golden Bullet line is its everyday rimfire choice. Confirm your firearm is chambered for 22 Long Rifle before use, and note that some semi automatic pistols run best with specific loads.

This case contains 50 boxes of 100 rounds each for a total of 5000 rounds of Remington 21278 (1600) Golden Bullet. The ammunition is new production rimfire and is not reloadable. Store it in a cool, dry place in the original boxes and a case like this will keep your rimfire firearms fed for a long time.
