CCI Mini-Mag is one of the most trusted 22 LR loads ever made, the round many shooters keep on hand when they need their rimfire to work every time. This listing is CCI Mini-Mag 22 Long Rifle 40 grain copper-plated round nose ammo, MPN 0030, sold as 1,000 rounds.
CCI rates this load at 1,235 fps with 135 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The high-velocity loading delivers enough energy to cycle semi-auto rifles and pistols reliably, and CCI uses its own priming compound for consistent ignition, which is a common weak point in budget rimfire ammo. The copper-plated bullet reduces lead fouling in the barrel and feeds smoothly. Mini-Mag is a favorite for plinking, small game hunting such as squirrels and rabbits, pest control, and survival kits, because it combines reliability with solid performance.
This ammunition fits rifles and handguns chambered in 22 Long Rifle, including the Ruger 10/22, Mark IV, and SR22, Marlin Model 60 and 795, Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 and Victory, Browning Buck Mark, Henry lever actions, Savage Mark II, CZ 457, Taurus TX22, SIG P322, and Glock 44. A common question is whether 22 LR can be fired in a 22 Short or 22 WMR firearm. It cannot, so only use it in a firearm marked 22 Long Rifle. Another common question is how Mini-Mag compares to bulk 22 LR. Mini-Mag costs more per round but is known for fewer duds and more consistent cycling, which is why many owners keep it for hunting and serious use.
CCI 0030 is new production ammunition, made in the USA in Lewiston, Idaho. It is a non-corrosive rimfire load and, like all rimfire ammunition, it is not reloadable. This listing ships as 10 boxes of 100 rounds for a total of 1,000 rounds of 22 LR 40 grain CPRN.
