Most 270 Winchester ammunition is loaded with 130 to 150 grain bullets, so a 100 grain option gives owners a lighter, faster alternative for smaller game and lighter recoil. This listing is Remington Core-Lokt 270 Win 100 grain pointed soft point ammo, MPN 21325, sold as a 200 round case. It suits hunters who use one rifle for both varmints and deer-sized game.

Remington rates 21325 at 3,320 fps with 2,447 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. That speed produces a very flat trajectory, which makes long shots on coyotes, pronghorn, and smaller deer easier to judge. The Core-Lokt pointed soft point has a jacket that is mechanically locked to the lead core to control expansion. A lighter bullet also reduces felt recoil, which younger or recoil-sensitive shooters appreciate. For elk or large, heavy-boned game, a heavier 270 bullet is the better choice.

It fits rifles chambered in 270 Winchester, including the Remington 700 and 783, Winchester Model 70 and XPR, Ruger American and Hawkeye, Savage 110 and Axis, Tikka T3x, Browning X-Bolt and BAR, and Weatherby Vanguard. A common question is whether a 100 grain bullet is enough for whitetail. It can be with careful shot placement on smaller deer, but many hunters prefer 130 grain for general deer hunting. Another common question is whether 270 Win and 270 WSM are interchangeable. No. They are different cases and must not be mixed.

Remington 21325 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. Cases are reloadable brass with boxer primers, and the load is non-corrosive. This listing ships as 10 boxes of 20 rounds, 200 total, from one lot, so your zero holds while you practice at long distances and when you take the rifle hunting. Light bullets often group differently from heavier loads, so confirm zero before your first hunt with this load.
