44 Rem Mag – 300 Gr SJ-FP – PPU (PPH44MF) – 500 Rounds

Looking for heavy-hitting 44 Magnum ammo for hunting and woods carry at a bulk price? Pick up this 500 round case of PPU PPH44MF 44 Rem Mag 300 grain semi-jacketed flat point ammo from Prvi Partizan.

The 300 grain semi-jacketed flat point is a classic heavy-for-caliber 44 Magnum bullet. Heavy bullets carry more momentum, and momentum is what drives deep penetration on large, tough animals. The wide flat nose crushes a broad wound channel and transfers energy efficiently, while the copper jacket around the base and sides keeps the bullet together as it drives through muscle and bone. The exposed lead at the nose allows some controlled expansion. PPU rates this load at 1,279 fps and 1,090 ft-lbs of muzzle energy from a revolver. That makes it a strong choice for deer, hogs, and black bear at handgun ranges, and a popular carry load for hikers and anglers in bear country.

The 44 Remington Magnum is chambered in revolvers such as the Smith & Wesson Model 29 and 629, Ruger Super Blackhawk, Redhawk, and Super Redhawk, as well as lever-action rifles like the Marlin 1894, Henry Big Boy, and Rossi R92. From a rifle, this load gains even more velocity and reach. Expect stout recoil from a revolver, so practice matters. Since you should practice with the same ammo you hunt with, a 500 round case lets you get comfortable with full-power loads, confirm your sights, and keep plenty for several seasons. Prvi Partizan has made ammunition in Serbia since 1928 and is known for dependable quality at a fair price.

This imported ammo is new production, brass-cased, Boxer-primed, and non-corrosive. The fired brass is reloadable. Each box holds 50 rounds, and ten boxes make up this 500 round case. Store the extra boxes in a cool, dry place. A case this size keeps you supplied for practice and hunting for years.
