450 Bushmaster – 260 gr SPH – Barnes Harvest Collection (32480) – 200 Rounds

The Barnes Harvest Collection pairs proven conventional hunting bullets with Barnes loading, and the 450 Bushmaster version is built for deer and hogs inside typical straight-wall ranges. This listing is Barnes Harvest Collection 450 Bushmaster 260 grain Sierra Pro-Hunter ammo, MPN 32480 (Barnes part HV450B1), sold as a 200 round bulk case.

The Sierra Pro-Hunter (SPH) is a cup and core soft point designed for controlled, reliable expansion on game. Its flat nose profile suits the 450 Bushmaster, and the 260 grain weight carries plenty of momentum for deep penetration on whitetail and wild hogs. Published velocity for this load is about 2,165 fps, which keeps it in the sweet spot for the cartridge.

The 450 Bushmaster was designed for the AR-15 platform and fits a standard AR-15 lower with a 450 Bushmaster upper, bolt, and magazines. It is also chambered in bolt action rifles such as the Ruger American Ranch, which makes it a popular choice for hunters who want one big bore round for both platforms. A common question is whether 450 Bushmaster is legal in straight-wall cartridge states such as Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. It is a straight-wall case and qualifies in many of those areas, but regulations change and differ by state, so always confirm your local rules before the season. Compared with the 350 Legend, the 450 Bushmaster fires a much heavier .452 inch bullet, which gives it more energy and a wider wound channel at the cost of more recoil, so it suits hunters who value stopping power inside about 200 yards. A 200 round case lets you sight in and hunt with one consistent lot of ammunition.

Barnes Harvest Collection 32480 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. Each cartridge uses a brass case with a boxer primer and is non-corrosive, and the boxer primed brass is reloadable for handloaders. Buying by the case also keeps you on one production lot, so point of impact and velocity stay consistent from box to box. This case comes in factory packaging as 10 boxes of 20 rounds for a total of 200 rounds of 450 Bushmaster 260 grain Sierra Pro-Hunter (SPH).
