5.7x28mm – 27 gr HP – Lead Free – FN SS195LF (10700013) – 500 Rounds

FN designed the 5.7x28mm and still sets the standard for its ammunition. This listing is FN SS195LF 5.7x28mm 27 grain lead-free hollow point ammo, FN product number 10700013, sold as 500 rounds.

FN lists this load at 1,890 fps with 222 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The 27 grain lead-free hollow point bullet keeps lead out of the picture entirely, which suits indoor ranges with lead restrictions and shooters who want less lead exposure. The light, fast bullet gives the 5.7 its very low recoil and flat trajectory. FN makes several 27 grain lead-free loads with different SS numbers and velocities, so it is worth matching your reorder to the exact product number. Shooters use this load for training, pest control, and general range use.

This ammunition fits firearms chambered in 5.7x28mm, including the FN Five-seveN and Five-seveN MRD, FN PS90 and P90, Ruger-57, Smith and Wesson M&P 5.7, Palmetto State Armory Rock and 5.7 Dagger, Kel-Tec P50, CMMG Banshee and Dissent, and AR-15 uppers built for 5.7x28mm. A common question is how SS195LF differs from SS198LF. Both use a 27 grain lead-free hollow point, but they are distinct FN products with different listed velocities, so check the SS number and FN product number when you reorder. Another common question is whether 5.7x28mm and 5.56 are related. They are not, and they are not interchangeable.

FN SS195LF is new production ammunition, not reloads. It is non-corrosive and uses brass cases. This listing ships as 10 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 500 rounds of 5.7x28mm 27 grain lead-free hollow point. Buying 500 at a time keeps you on a consistent lot, which helps 5.7 firearms cycle and group the same way from box to box. It is also a practical reserve of a cartridge that has seen supply swings in past years, and the lead-free bullets make it a good fit for indoor training.
