6.5 Creedmoor – 131 gr SP – Sellier Bellot (SB65B) – 500 Rounds

Hunters who like to practice with the exact load they carry in the field need a soft point that is affordable enough to shoot in volume. This listing is Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor 131 grain soft point ammo, MPN SB65B, sold as 500 rounds for deer hunters, hunting clubs, ranch owners, and anyone who wants one consistent 6.5 load for practice and harvest.

Sellier & Bellot rates this load at 2,740 fps with 2,183 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The 131 grain soft point bullet has an exposed lead tip that begins expanding on impact and a jacket that controls how far it opens, producing a wide wound channel on deer sized game. Recoil is mild, which makes it a good fit for younger or recoil sensitive hunters. As an expanding hunting bullet, it is intended for deer, hogs, and similar game at common hunting ranges, not for precision competition.

This ammunition fits rifles chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, including the Ruger American, Savage Axis and 110, Tikka T3x, Bergara B-14 Hunter, Browning X-Bolt, Winchester XPR, Mossberg Patriot, CVA Cascade, and AR-10 style rifles in 6.5 CM. A common question is whether 6.5 Creedmoor is enough for elk. With a well constructed bullet and shots kept to moderate distances, many hunters take elk with it, but heavier bullets give more margin. Another common question is whether 6.5 Creedmoor and 260 Remington are interchangeable. They are not. The cases have different dimensions, so use only ammunition marked 6.5 Creedmoor.

Sellier & Bellot SB65B is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the Czech Republic. It uses reloadable boxer-primed brass cases with non-corrosive primers. This listing contains 25 boxes of 20 rounds for 500 total from one lot. Practicing and hunting with the same lot means the zero you confirm at the bench is the zero you take into the woods.
