This load uses Sierra’s 145 grain Tipped GameKing, or STGK. Sierra built the GameKing line with the same manufacturing process as its famous MatchKing target bullets, so accuracy is excellent. The Tipped GameKing adds a polymer tip for a higher ballistic coefficient and a boat tail for a flatter trajectory. Its tapered jacket is designed to open quickly on deer-sized game while retaining enough weight to penetrate through the vitals.
