CCI Blazer aluminum-cased ammo is one of the lowest-cost ways to buy major-brand, US-made 9mm, and the 3509 is its 115 grain range load. This listing is CCI Blazer 9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket ammo with aluminum cases, MPN 3509, sold as a 1,000 round case.
The 115 grain FMJ bullet is the standard 9mm practice weight. It feeds and cycles reliably in nearly every 9mm pistol and carbine and keeps recoil quick and easy to manage. CCI rates this load at 1,145 fps with 335 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, the same performance class as Blazer Brass. A full metal jacket bullet does not expand, so this is ammunition for target practice, plinking, and training rather than self defense or hunting.
This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including the Glock 17, 19, 26, and 43X, the SIG P320 and P365, Smith and Wesson M&P9 and Shield, Springfield Hellcat, Taurus G2C and G3, Ruger Security-9, and pistol caliber carbines. A common question is whether aluminum-cased ammo is bad for your gun. No. CCI designed the aluminum case to run in standard 9mm firearms, and it does not cause extra wear on chambers or extractors. Another common question is the tradeoff versus brass. Aluminum cases are lighter and lower in cost, but they cannot be reloaded, and some ranges ask shooters to use brass so they can collect it. Check your range rules if that matters to you.
Blazer 3509 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA by CCI in Lewiston, Idaho. It is non-corrosive, and the aluminum case is not reloadable. This case comes in factory packaging as 20 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 1,000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ. Buying by the case keeps you on one production lot so your practice ammo performs the same from box to box.

I bought these for practice rounds at the gun club. They are getting the job done. The aluminum and its’ lightness compared to brass, has posed some issues that served me well in learning to handle ‘imperfect’ situations. Example: a few times the aluminum case got stuck outside the chamber… the corrective action was the win !
Remove my clip , manually discharge the aluminum case pulling my slide, checking the chamber for a round in place.. putting the clip back and continue on These are great for practice especially for getting more acquainted with handling and getting very familiar your weapon. Age 71

Didn’t pay attention when I purchased and was surprised to see aluminum casting. But after 500 of the 1000 rounds I purchased I’ve yet to have any issues.

I share the sales with all of my close friends and a few have purchased based on my suggestion. Please keep up your prices and selection! Thank you!
