Remington UMC has been a go-to range load for decades, and the L9MM3 is its standard 9mm practice round. This listing is Remington UMC 9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket ammo, MPN L9MM3 (Remington item 23728), sold as a 500 round case.
The 115 grain FMJ bullet is the most common 9mm training weight. It feeds smoothly from box magazines, runs reliably in striker-fired and hammer-fired pistols, and keeps recoil quick and manageable for long sessions. Remington rates this load at 1,145 fps with 335 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. A full metal jacket bullet does not expand, so this ammunition is made for target practice, plinking, steel, and qualification courses rather than self defense or hunting.
This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including Glock 17, 19, 43, and 48 pistols, the SIG P320 and P365, Smith and Wesson M&P9 and Shield Plus, Springfield Hellcat, Taurus G3, Beretta 92, and 9mm carbines such as the Ruger PC Carbine. A common question is whether UMC stands for anything. It comes from the Union Metallic Cartridge Company, which merged with Remington in the early 1900s, and the name is now used for Remington range ammunition. Another common question is how long 500 rounds lasts. For most shooters it covers a handgun class or several months of regular range trips.
Remington L9MM3 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. Each round uses a brass case with a boxer primer and is non-corrosive, so the brass can be saved and reloaded. This case comes in factory packaging as 10 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 500 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ. Buying by the case keeps you on one production lot, which helps keep point of impact and function consistent from box to box.

I’ve bought 1,500 rounds of ammo over the last 4 weeks and haven’t had a single problem. I’d recommend this ammo to anyone that likes going to the range as much as I do and seeks out goog ammo for a good price. The purchase was easy and the delivery was on time and uneventful.
