Some ranges think the bi-metal jacket wears out backstops faster (since it’s a slightly harder bullet than a standard brass jacket) and some ranges resell spent brass casings and just don’t want to take the time to pick out the steel cases.

    This ammunition is fine but understand that many ranges will not allow this ammo to be used at an indoor range due the the steel composition of the bullet and in some cases the steel casing becomes an issue. Call you range to verify any concerns they may have before you show up and are not allowed to shoot.
