Steel-cased 9mm is one of the most affordable ways to put a lot of rounds through a pistol, and Wolf is one of the best-known names in steel-cased ammo. This listing is Wolf Performance 9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket ammo with steel cases, MPN 91915WFMJ, sold as 1,000 rounds.
The 115 grain FMJ bullet is the standard 9mm practice weight, with a quick recoil impulse and reliable feeding in most 9mm pistols and carbines. Wolf uses coated steel cases with Berdan primers. Steel cases are not reloadable, which matters little to shooters who buy for volume, and they are magnetic, which makes them easy to sweep up at ranges that require you to police your brass. A full metal jacket bullet does not expand, so this ammunition is intended for target practice and plinking rather than self defense or hunting.
This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including Glock, SIG Sauer, Smith and Wesson M&P, Springfield, Taurus, Canik, CZ, and Ruger 9mm pistols, and pistol caliber carbines such as the Ruger PC Carbine and Kel-Tec Sub2000. A common question is whether steel-cased ammo damages a pistol. Steel-cased 9mm is widely used and generally runs well, though some shooters see a bit more carbon in the chamber and faster extractor wear over very high round counts, and a few pistols with tight chambers are picky. Shooting a box or two first is a good test. Another common question is whether steel case is allowed at my range. Some indoor ranges prohibit steel-cased ammo, so check before you go.
Wolf 91915WFMJ is new production ammunition, not reloads, and it is non-corrosive. This listing ships as 1,000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ, a single lot that keeps your practice consistent while keeping cost per round low.

This ammunition is fine but understand that many ranges will not allow this ammo to be used at an indoor range due the the steel composition of the bullet and in some cases the steel casing becomes an issue. Call you range to verify any concerns they may have before you show up and are not allowed to shoot.
