Speer Lawman was designed as a law enforcement training load, and the 53650 is its fastest 9mm option. This listing is Speer Lawman 9mm Luger 115 grain Total Metal Jacket ammo, MPN 53650, sold as a 1,000 round case.
Speer rates this load at 1,200 fps with 368 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, which is a bit hotter than many 115 grain range loads and helps it cycle firmly in pistols with stiffer recoil springs. The Total Metal Jacket bullet is plated over the entire bullet, including the base. A traditional FMJ leaves the lead base exposed to the burning powder, which puts more lead into the air at the firing line. The enclosed TMJ base cuts down on that exposure and on barrel fouling, which is why many indoor ranges and agencies prefer TMJ for training. The bullet does not expand, so this is a practice and qualification round rather than a defensive or hunting load.
This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including the Glock 17, 19, 43X, and 45, SIG P320 and P365, Smith and Wesson M&P9 and Shield, Springfield Hellcat, Walther PDP, and carbines such as the Ruger PC Carbine. A common question is how Lawman 53650 compares with 53651. They are the same Lawman TMJ line; 53650 uses a 115 grain bullet at 1,200 fps while 53651 uses a 124 grain bullet at 1,090 fps. Another common question is whether TMJ ammo is allowed at indoor ranges that restrict exposed lead. TMJ usually qualifies, but confirm with your range.
Speer Lawman 53650 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA in Lewiston, Idaho. Each round uses a reloadable brass case with a boxer primer and is non-corrosive. This case comes in factory packaging as 20 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 1,000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain TMJ.

Great ammo. Used to shooting 147g. Definitely on the higher side vs other suppliers but given the current mkt demand take what you can get. Will definitely purchase again.

I’ve used this in my EMP4 CCC, my EDC P365 and M17 and my new XDM Elite. All fire it well; no malfunctions. A little pricey but at least it was available. Good product and fast delivery!

Consistent and reliable ammo. It is the only ammo allowed at my range because of its reliability and that it is TMJ. When shooting in an indoor range it is crucial to protect from lead exposure, this is the perfect all around range ammo.

Good Ammo. Cycled rounds through 92FS, Glock 48, PPQ & Hellcat. No jams. No FTI. Not particularly dirty. The price was rough, but thats unfortunate consequence of market conditions. Solid groupings and performance at 8, 10, 15 and 25yds.
If there is on “complaint” – the ammo trays are spaced more than my liking, which makes carrying extra ammo in a small pistol bag (hazard 4 mpc) less ideal than say magtech packaging.
Overall, can recommend and would buy again (hoping at more aggressive price – .44/rd at purchase time.
Shipped fast, packaged well.
