Power-Shok uses a conventional wad, which means the pattern begins to open sooner than it does with Federal’s FliteControl loads; at typical home and hunting distances that spread is part of how buckshot works, but it is worth patterning at the distances you plan to shoot. This ammunition fits shotguns chambered in 12 gauge with a 2-3/4 inch or longer chamber, including the Remington 870, Mossberg 500 and 590, Benelli M2 and Nova, Beretta A300, Stoeger M3000, and Winchester SXP.
