Federal American Eagle AE9DP is one of the most widely used 9mm range loads in the country, and this case is built for shooters who train often. This listing is Federal American Eagle 9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket ammo, MPN AE9DP, sold as a 1,000 round case.
The 115 grain FMJ bullet is the standard practice weight for 9mm. Federal rates this load at 1,180 fps with 356 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, which makes it a little faster than many competing 115 grain range loads and helps it cycle firmly in pistols with stiffer recoil springs. A full metal jacket bullet does not expand, so this ammunition is intended for target practice, steel, matches, and training classes rather than self defense or hunting.
This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including the Glock 17, 19, 43, and 48, the SIG Sauer P320, P365, and P226, Smith and Wesson M&P9 and Shield Plus, Springfield Hellcat and Echelon, Beretta 92, CZ 75, and 9mm carbines such as the Ruger PC Carbine. A common question is whether American Eagle is the same company as Federal Premium. Yes. American Eagle is Federal’s training and range line, loaded in Anoka, Minnesota, on the same lines as its premium ammunition. Another common question is whether 9mm and 9mm Luger are the same. In the US they are. 9mm Luger, 9x19mm, and 9mm Parabellum are one cartridge, but 9mm Makarov and 380 ACP (9mm Kurz) are different and not interchangeable.
Federal AE9DP is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. Each round uses a brass case with a boxer primer and is non-corrosive, so the brass is reloadable. This case comes in factory packaging as 20 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 1,000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ. Buying by the case keeps you on one production lot for consistent point of impact from box to box.

I purchased 1000 rounds. I could only find 9mm on-line through Bulk Munitions. My brother and I split the shipment which arrived 3 days from the date of order. We fired rounds in my Walther PPQ Sub Compact and his Luger Carbine. No issues with the quality or accuracy of the ammo, excellent service, and zero negative issues. This was my 2nd order of ammo and you’ve earned my repeat business!
