10mm Auto – 180 gr JHP – Sellier & Bellot (SB10B) – 1000 Rounds

Buying expanding 10mm ammunition by the thousand is unusual, but it makes sense for shooters who want to train with the same hollow point they carry in the woods or at home. This listing is Sellier and Bellot 10mm Auto 180 grain jacketed hollow point ammo, MPN SB10B, sold as a 1,000 round case from one of Europe’s oldest ammunition makers.

Sellier and Bellot rates this load at 1,165 fps with 542 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. That is a moderate 10mm load, stronger than a typical 40 S&W but below the hottest full-power 10mm offerings, which keeps recoil manageable for long strings. The 180 grain hollow point is designed to expand in soft tissue, so it suits self defense and close-range use on hogs and similar game. For pure target work, a full metal jacket round costs less, but practicing with your actual carry load has real value.

This ammunition fits pistols and carbines chambered in 10mm Auto, including the Glock 20, 29, and 40, SIG P320 XTen, Smith and Wesson M&P 10mm, Springfield XD-M Elite, Ruger GP100 10mm and SR1911, Colt Delta Elite, and Kimber Camp Guard. A common question is whether 10mm ammo can be fired in a 40 S&W pistol. No. The 10mm case is longer, and it should only be used in a 10mm chamber. Another common question is whether 40 S&W fits a 10mm gun. It is not recommended because it headspaces poorly.

Sellier and Bellot SB10B is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the Czech Republic. It uses boxer-primed brass cases with non-corrosive priming. This case ships as 20 boxes of 50 rounds for 1,000 rounds total, all from one lot, so the hollow points you shoot in practice behave the same as the ones in your magazine. Store the boxes cool and dry and they will stay reliable for years.
