22 LR – 32 gr CPHP – CCI Stinger Bulk (0050) – 5000 Rounds

CCI Stinger was one of the first hyper velocity 22 Long Rifle loads and remains a favorite for varmint shooters who want the most out of a rimfire. This listing is CCI Stinger 22 Long Rifle 32 grain copper-plated hollow point ammo, MPN 0050, sold as 5,000 rounds for pest control, small game hunting, and rimfire shooters who want a long term supply.

Stinger pairs a light 32 grain bullet with a longer case than standard 22 LR, which lets CCI load it to much higher velocity than ordinary high velocity 22s. The copper-plated hollow point opens rapidly on impact, making it effective on ground squirrels, prairie dogs, rats, and similar pests at rimfire distances. The extra speed gives a flatter trajectory too. Rapid expansion also means more meat damage on edible small game, so many squirrel hunters choose solids instead. Stinger is a hunting and varmint load more than a target round.

This ammunition fits rifles and handguns chambered in 22 Long Rifle, including the Ruger 10/22 and Mark IV, Marlin Model 60, CZ 457, Savage Mark II and A22, Henry H001, Browning Buck Mark, Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22, Taurus TX22, and many rimfire revolvers. A common question is whether Stinger is safe in all 22 LR guns. It is loaded within 22 Long Rifle limits, but its longer case can be tight in some match chambers, so try a few rounds first. Another common question is whether Stinger works with a suppressor. It is supersonic, so it produces a downrange crack, and subsonic ammo is the quieter choice.

CCI 0050 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA in Lewiston, Idaho. As rimfire ammunition it cannot be reloaded, and it is non-corrosive. This listing contains 5,000 rounds of Stinger from one lot, which keeps velocity and point of impact consistent across seasons of varmint control and small game hunting.
