9mm – 115 gr FMJ – Magtech (9A) – 1000 Rounds

Magtech 9A is one of the most familiar 9mm range loads at gun counters, valued for consistent function at a reasonable price. This listing is Magtech 9mm Luger 115 grain full metal jacket ammo, MPN 9A, sold as a 1,000 round case.

Magtech rates this load at 1,135 fps with 329 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The 115 grain FMJ bullet is the standard 9mm practice weight, with a quick recoil impulse and reliable feeding in nearly every 9mm pistol and carbine. Magtech is part of CBC, one of the largest ammunition makers in the world, and its range ammo is loaded with clean-burning powder and brass cases. A full metal jacket bullet does not expand, so this ammunition is for target practice, drills, and matches rather than self defense or hunting.

This ammunition fits any firearm chambered in 9mm Luger, also called 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum, including the Glock 17, 19, 26, 43, and 48, SIG P320 and P365, Smith and Wesson M&P9 and Shield, Springfield Hellcat and XD, CZ 75 and P-10, Taurus G3, and carbines such as the Ruger PC Carbine. A common question is whether Magtech 9A and PMC 9A are the same. They are not. Both companies happen to use 9A as the part number for a 115 grain FMJ load, but they are different products from different makers, so check the brand when you reorder. Another common question is whether this is +P. It is not. It is standard pressure ammunition safe in any 9mm firearm in good condition.

Magtech 9A is new production ammunition, not reloads. Each round uses a reloadable brass case with a boxer primer and is non-corrosive. This case comes in factory packaging as 20 boxes of 50 rounds for a total of 1,000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ. Buying by the case keeps you on one production lot for consistent function from box to box.
