This round uses the revolutionary spitzer boat-tail bullet with steel core penetrator, the same design adopted by NATO in 1980. The result is improved penetration, higher velocity retention, and greater accuracy even at longer ranges.

Federal utilizes a manufacturing process that relies on boxer-primers with lacquer sealing & first run brass cases. Each casing is headstamped with manufacturer’s mark and production date. Each round utilizes the steel core penetrator full metal jacket bullet, with green painted NATO tip, for the same long-distance penetration the U.S. military counts on.
Ammunition that shoots this well will allow you to build confidence at the same time you improve your skills.
