Description

Federal’s FliteControl wad changed what agencies expect from buckshot, and this law enforcement load puts that technology in a full case. This listing is Federal Law Enforcement 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch 00 buckshot with the FliteControl wad, 9 pellets, MPN LE132 00, sold as a 250 round case.

A standard buckshot wad releases its pellets almost immediately after leaving the barrel, so the pattern starts spreading right away. The FliteControl wad stays with the shot column for several feet and uses rear-deploying brakes to separate cleanly, which keeps the pellets together much longer. The result is far tighter patterns at typical home defense and duty distances, so more of the 9 pellets of 00 buck land where you aim. Federal lists this load at 1,145 fps. That is slower than full-power 00 buck loads, which reduces felt recoil and makes follow-up shots faster, especially in pump shotguns.

This ammunition fits shotguns chambered for 12 gauge with a 2-3/4 inch or longer chamber, including the Mossberg 500, 590, and 940, Remington 870, Benelli M4 and Nova, Beretta 1301, and Winchester SXP. A common question is whether FliteControl works with choked barrels. Federal recommends a cylinder bore or improved cylinder for best results, and full chokes or ported chokes can disrupt the wad and open the pattern, so pattern your shotgun with this load before relying on it. Another common question is whether 2-3/4 inch shells work in a 3 inch chamber. Yes. A 3 inch chamber safely accepts 2-3/4 inch shells, but not the other way around.

Federal LE132 00 is new production ammunition, not reloads, made in the USA. This case comes in factory packaging as 50 boxes of 5 rounds for a total of 250 rounds of 12 gauge 00 buckshot. Buying by the case lets you pattern, train, and stock your duty or home defense shotgun with a single production lot.

Federal Flight Control, 00 Buck. The best defensive 12g Round on the market. Very tight groupings out to 50+ Yards, or better. Always consistent in performance, never had a bad round. I would not use anything else for close quarters defense. Put your rounds where they belong, not spread out after 10 yards like a standard 00 Round. Highly recommended.
    Highly recommended.

I patterned my humble mossberg 500 pump 12ga with different brands like Hornaday, Winchester, and Federal. The Federal LE132 00 patterned the best at 15 and 25 yards which is perfect for my intended use.
As far as Bulkmunitions.com, best service experience I have had with online ammunition purchases. Fast, reliable, professional, great pricing, and friendly. Simply put this will be my source for online ammunition purchases from now on.

Great ammo for duty, HD and personal defense. Holds a tight pattern even at 15 yards. Solid duty ammo without the kick of LE127. It’ll get the job done. Also very pleasantly surprised with bulk munitions, very low prices and rapid shipping. Happy to leave this review for them.

From our research, this 12 gauge 00 buck federal LE13200 is the most highly rated round on the market. Our sporting use and patterning at the range of this round bears that out. Bulk munitions timely filled our order of a hard to find product in discrete well constructed packaging . Great service and product.
