The Maglula StripLULA, MPN SL50B, is a 10 round magazine loader for AR-15 and M4 magazines in 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. Instead of loading one cartridge at a time, it lets you strip a full 10 round clip into the magazine in one motion, or load 10 loose rounds the same way. That makes it a good match for military style 5.56 that comes packed on stripper clips, and for anyone filling a stack of 30 round magazines after buying a case of ammo.
The StripLULA sits on top of the magazine and guides the rounds straight down past the feed lips, so the cartridges and lips are not scraped or bent. Three passes fill a 30 round magazine. It also works as a simple unloader. Maglula rates it for all AR-15 and M16 style 5.56 stripper clips, metal and polymer, including the gray GECO (RUAG) clips. The loader is sold without stripper clips.
Maglula lists the SL50B for 10, 20, 30, 40 and 100 round 223 and 5.56 magazines, including USGI aluminum (NATO STANAG 4179), Magpul PMAG, Lancer, H&K 416 steel, SA80, Beretta AR 70-90, Thermold, Orlite, SIG black magazines and the Beta C-Mag drum. A common question is whether you need stripper clips to use it. You do not; it loads 10 loose rounds as well, though clips are fastest. Another common question is how it compares with the Maglula LULA (LU10B). The LULA loads single rounds with a lever and is better for mixed or loose ammo, while the StripLULA is faster when your ammo comes on clips. Many shooters keep both.
The StripLULA weighs about 1.5 ounces, is about a third the size of many competing clip loaders, and works with either hand. It is made of reinforced polymer and carries a NATO stock number. This listing is one new, factory packaged Maglula StripLULA SL50B in black. If you need a loader for AK or Galil magazines instead, see the AK-47 LULA (LU12B).

Works great! Sure beats loading mags one round at a time. With or without stripper clips.
